Join me at Ozma Beauty Collective in Fremont to master the art of natural hair texture. Seattle has a massive demand for texture specialists, and this class gives you the technical skills, knowledge, and business strategy to fill that gap.

We will cover theory, product chemistry, and the language you need to lead a confident consultation. You’ll learn my Dry Sculptural Haircutting method—working with hair in its natural state to create shapes that respect the unique spring of every curl pattern.

I’ll perform two live model demonstrations with a deep dive into product application and styling. These techniques focus on giving clients their best hair with the least amount of effort, allowing them to go longer between appointments. Finally, I’ll show you how to market your new specialty so you can turn your investment into profit and results in your chair right away.

I’ve designed this day to be a deep dive into the world of texture, leaving you with the tools to confidently handle any curl that walks into your salon. Here is exactly what we’ll cover during our time together:

Holistic Theory & Language: We start with the science of curls. You’ll learn the specific terminology and "why" behind texture, so you can speak to your clients with authority and ease.

Chemistry basics: Knowing which ingredients create the cleanest, most consistent curls with the least amount of effort, from the wash to treatments and appropriate products for different textures and hair types.

Mastering the Consulation: You'll have a solid formula you can personalize to get all of the information you need to make your client's dreams come true!

Two Live Model Demos: You’ll see the techniques in action on two different curl patterns. I’ll walk you through the full service, from cut prep to the first snip, to the final set.

Effortless Styling & Set: I’ll teach you my application methods that both you and your clients can pick up with ease. Your hands will become weapons of curl creation!

Marketing Your Expertise: We finish the day talking business. I’ll show you how to share your new skills on social media to attract your ideal curl clients and get a return on your investment immediately.

Schedule Flow:

9:45 - 10am | Find a great parking spot, grab all of your emotional support bevs and snacks and head into the salon to get the best seat in the house!

10am - 11am | Theory - I will have a handy dandy guidebook printed out for you that we'll use to build our knowledge foundation. Note taking is encouraged!

First Live Model 11am - 1pm
